Professional Fire Service Mannheim – Newbuild with emc² VOIP as the communication system
This project started in mid 2016 and centered around the new fire service building for the Mannheim Professional Fire Service.
The project had an extremely tight schedule due to the building works. Commissioning of the communication system in the new, modern building was scheduled to take place approximately 10 months after the start of the project.
A complex planning phase, worked out jointly with the fire service, preceded the setup of emc² VOIP, eurofunk’s flexible IP-based communication system. The system was then installed onsite in the control center. Following this, final adjustments were made to the system and intensive training and testing was carried out in parallel. In this way, the best possible preparations were made for the commissioning of the system which was successfully completed as planed in Mai 2017.
